For boats with room for a large flush-mount speaker, the JL Audio M6-880X-C-3Gw delivers an 8.8-inch M6 coaxial behind a gloss white classic grille. It is the biggest in-panel size in the M6 range and suits owners who want more low-frequency output from each opening and have an amplifier to drive it.

The pair uses a long-excursion, DMA-optimized woofer and a 1.25-inch suspended silk dome tweeter. Crossover and tweeter protection circuitry are integrated into the woofer chassis. Note the larger cutout and 5 inches of required mounting depth when planning the install. The grille and trim ring can be removed for painting, and the build is intended for saltwater use. JL Audio provides a 3-year manufacturer warranty. This model has no LED lighting.
