JL Audio's XMD-WHTAIC2-3 is a 3 foot, two-channel RCA interconnect intended for marine audio installs where the linked components sit right next to each other. A common case is a compact amplifier mounted directly beside or behind the source unit, where a longer lead would only leave spare cable to bundle and tie down. A short run like this keeps the wiring tidy in cramped spaces.
Both signal paths are wound as twisted pairs, a layout that helps cancel interference picked up along the cable. Pure OFC copper makes up the conductors, each insulated with polyethylene, and every plug is built around machined brass contact parts housed in a molded body. With one stereo pair on board, it handles a single left and right signal feed between two components.
